PADI Adventure Diver (3 Dives)

During the Open Water Diver Course, you have learned all the basic skills to dive safe, now it’s time to try something more adventurous!

The Advanced Open Water Course is the next step, you’ll go deeper and you’ll develop knowledge and techniques related to a specific types of dives that attract you.

If you don’t have the time to complete the full PADI Advanced Open Water Course you can apply for the 1-day course PADI Adventure Diver.

The course develops diver knowledge and skills regarding 3 adventure dives you choose from a list of elective dives.

Adventure Diver Course can be considered either a stand-alone course or part of the Advanced Open Water Diver Course.

Once you will be certified as Adventure Diver, you will be able to upgrade your license to Advanced Open Water Diver at any time, without expiry dates, at any PADI center in the world.

 

The course consists of:

– 3 adventure dives chosen by the student

– 3 knowledge developments

Duration: minimum 1 day, 2 days recommended

 

 Prerequisites: PADI Open Water Diver or equivalent certification.

Minimum age: 10 years old (10-11 years old: Junior Adventure Diver)

 

Price: $225 USD

Price includes: Basic diving equipment hire, training dives, PADI manual, and certification fee, boat fees. Free collection and return to your hotel\Guesthouse, and lunch on the boat

PADI Advanced Open Water Diver (5 Dives)

Open Water

Are you looking for new challenges, exciting explorations, and you want to improve your diving skills? This is what the PADI Advanced Open Water Course is all about.

​

This is the natural step after the Open Water Diver Course.

​

Note that you don’t have to be “advanced” to access this course: it is designed to “advance” your diving, so you can start right after earning your Open Water Diver certification.

​

The course consists of 5 adventure dives: 3 elective and 2 core dives, “deep” and “navigation” adventure dive.

You will be certified to dive to the maximum depth of 30m, with a certified buddy.

 

The course consists of:

– 5 adventure dives

– 5 knowledge developments

Duration: minimum 2 days

Prerequisites: PADI Open Water Diver or equivalent certification

Minimum age: 12 years old (12-15 years old: Junior Advanced OWD)

 

Price: $380 USD

 

Price includes: basic diving equipment hire, training dives, PADI manual and certification fee,

boat fees. Free collection and return to your hotel\Guesthouse, and lunch on the boat

Thanks to this course you will develop skills and confidence to deal with medical emergencies of daily life, not only diving-related.

You will learn the basics of CPR and First Aid with the same techniques and priorities used by paramedics and doctors.

Anyone can access this course, both divers and non-divers.

The Emergency First Response Course meets the training requirements for the PADI Rescue Diver Course and all the Tec and Professional-level courses.

Some of the most important skills developed during the course consist of:

– BLS (Basic Life Support): CPR cardiopulmonary resuscitation with chest compressions and  rescue breath on a training manikin;

– spinal injury management;

– shock management;

– serious bleeding management;

– choking management;

– use of barriers to reduce the risk of transmissible diseases;

– AED (automated external defibrillator).

 

The course consists of:

– theory session

– practical session

Minimum age: none

 

The certification must be renewed periodically.

This course teaches you how to prevent and manage problems and emergencies in the water.

Most divers describe it as the most challenging and important course they have taken.

This course aims to train you in self-help, in the recognition and management of stress in other divers, in the management of emergencies in the aquatic context, and in rescuing divers in panic or even in a state of unconsciousness.

 

Some of the most important skills developed during the course consist of:

– self-rescue;

– recognizing and managing stress in another diver;

– rescuing panicked diver;

– rescuing unresponsive diver;

 

The course consists of:

– theory session

– self-rescue exercises

– 10 rescue exercises

–  2 open water scenarios

Duration: minimum 2 days

 

Prerequisites:  Adventure Diver or equivalent;

EFR certification or equivalent issued or renewed within 24 months.

 

Minimum age: 12 years old (12-15 years old: Junior Rescue Diver)
